Dr. Marty Greer

Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Marty Greer received her Bachelor of science in 1978, her DVM in 1981 from Iowa State University and her JD in 2010 from Marquette Law School.

Dr. Greer and her husband, Dr. Dan Griffiths own Veterinary Village and International Canine Semen Bank WI-IL. They also recently purchased Pet Care Centre in Sun Prairie, now named Nature’s Preserve Pet Care. She has a special interest in Pediatrics and Reproduction. They have 2 married grown children and one grandchild. In addition, they raise and show Pembroke Welsh corgis and Danish-Swedish Farm Dogs. Her family has raised 5 puppies for canine Companions for Independence, a service dog organization. She practices law part-time with her law partner Sheila Kessler at Animal Legal Resources, LLC.

Dr. Greer is active in many community organizations, as Chairman of the Board of the National Animal Interest Alliance, and has held offices with the WVMA, AVMA Ethics Committee, the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Ethics, and various dog and local clubs. She is also a Certified Dogosterone Veterinarian.

Dr. Greer is a serious foodie, loves cooking, and photography. She has recently published the book: Canine Reproduction and Neonatology – for Veterinarians, Veterinary Staff, and Breeders.

Dr. Greer is primarily based out of our Lomira location, Veterinary Village.
